When David Grohl of Nirvana and Foo Fighters fame release the sensational CD “Probot” in 2010 it rekindled my metal tastebuds. For anyone unaware of his project I’ll explain. He recorded songs which he played all instruments anf the husband had guest vocalists come in and sing as well as write the lyrics and play whatever instrument they could also play. The cd features vocalists like King Diamond, Snake from Voivod, and lots of other great singers/musicians. The whole cd flows want it was obviously a gift from God or at least the Heavy Metal God. On that cd Lemmy from Motorhead does a fantastic job about the tune “Shake Your Blood”. On first listen I became excited to listen to Lemmy singing on this kind of awesome tune along with the excitement was enough that i can carry out some google searching and that’s where I realized which the boys were back together a different CD released around the indie label Sanctuary entitled “Inferno”. Like Monster Magnet, located on an indie has enhanced their sound big!

Always an approximate and hard rocking band, Motorhead hasn’t rocked like they do about this CD. What’s amazing is the place great Lemmy’s vocals sound. We’ve loved the band since their beginning and my fondness for Lemmy dates back to his Hawkwind days. I need to say I’ve got enjoyed Motorhead whenever I’ve bought a cd and listened.
